Is your JetWear Dark™ transfer paper a “cold peel” or “hot peel”?
Our 3G Opaque and JetWear Dark™ (Jet-Opaque II) heat transfer paper for dark colored fabrics is a cold peel paper, and comes with parchment paper included in the package. Detailed instruction sheets are available for download here.
What kind of printer will your Jet-Pro SofStretch and 3G Opaque/JetWear Dark™ papers work in?
Our JetWear™ line is designed to work specifically with inkjet printers. We also offer our TransferWear™ line for laser printer papers. Contact our customer service department at info@cmwi.com for more advice on the proper paper for your printer.
Can I use a regular iron with 3G/JetWear Dark™ and Jet-Pro SofStretch?
Yes, you can use an iron with the heat transfer paper; although a heat press is recommended. We offer detailed instruction sheets for all of our products, they are available for download here.
What is the finish of your products?
Our Jet-Pro SofStretch and 3G Opaque/JetWear Dark™ have a matte finish.
Do you sell any products with a glossy finish?
Our Red-Grid light ink-jet product has a glossy finish to it. For more information on the best finish for your project, please contact our customer service department at info@cmwi.com.
Do I need to trim my transfer?
Yes, any area which is not printed on will appear white. Generally using our Jet-Pro SofStretch product on white colored fabrics, you will not notice the “background”, it will be undetectable after the first wash; however if you are transferring to a dark garment you may want to trim the transfer for a more professional result.
Will you ship to overseas buyers/shoppers?
We ship to any continent in the world other than Antarctica, if people start wearing t-shirts at the South Pole, we’ll ship there too. Please contact our customer service department at info@cmwi.com.

What kind of printer will your TransferWear Dark™ paper work in?
Our TransferWear Dark™ is recommended for color laser copiers and printers and works in both newer oil-free machines along with older machines which require fuser oil.
Can I use a regular iron with TransferWear Dark™?
No, our TransferWear Dark™ needs to be applied with a heat press. Detailed instruction sheets are available for download here.
Do your heat transfers have a shelf life?
Yes. All heat transfer products will perform as designed, generally, for at least two years from date of purchase. Follow the storage directions as indicated on the instruction sheet for your paper. We offer detailed instruction sheets for all of our products, they are available for download here.
Are your heat transfer products washable?
All our heat transfer products have endured rigorous durability testing. Our products significantly exceed industry standards for wash-ability and performance. The average is approximately 30 washes. The number of washes a garment will endure can vary depending on wash conditions, detergent and other variables. Closely following the washing instructions will ensure a lasting, colorful image for years to come.
Can I iron the garment after making the heat transfer?
Yes. However, do not iron directly over the transferred area without placing a pillowcase or other protective covering over the area with the heat transfer. Do not use high heat. Always review our instruction sheets for detailed instructions; they are available for download here.
What types of fabrics work best with your heat transfer products?
100% cotton or any cotton/poly blend down to 50/50 is recommended for most heat transfer products. Contact our customer service department at info@cmwi.com for more heat transfer solutions or advice on the proper paper for the fabric that you are working with.
Do you offer a warranty or guarantee? Absolutely!
Our 5-Star 5-Sheet Guarantee policy states that you may use up to 5 sheets from your order to determine if you are satisfied with our paper. In the unlikely event that you are unsatisfied, you may return the unused paper for a full refund. Please see our return policy below for details.
What is your return policy?
If you are unsatisfied with our papers after testing, you may return the unused paper for a credit in accordance with our 5-Star 5-Sheet Guarantee (see above). We require the following in order to process your return and issue your refund:
A pre-approved Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Please contact us at info@cmwi.com for an RMA. Please provide a brief explanation of why you wish to return the paper.
Along with your unused paper, we require a sample of the failed transfer for internal testing purposes. (Examples: ruined t-shirt, transfer sheet with bad color out of printer).
After processing your return, we will issue you a refund via PayPal equal to the total amount of your original order (cost of goods plus shipping). The cost of shipping to return the paper would be your responsibility.
When and how do you ship the product?
All orders are shipped within 3 business days after receipt of payment. Our standard shipping method is UPS ground. If you would like to expedite your order, please contact customer service at info@cmwi.com for rates and availability.
